Blooming Betsy
This fun mixed media 24"x24" piece is all about the fun! Created on Birch board, the background is all flowers cut from magazines and pasted on. Next those are lightly sanded and acrylic paint is thinned and applied for the background, leaving the subliminal flowers exposed. Betsy was painted in oils and the final touch is a silk flower behind her ear! Ahhh... those soft eyes!
